The Moscow Saxophone Quartet was founded in 2023. The quartet consists of world-class classical saxophone musicians. Nikita Zimin, Taras Gusarov, Sophia Petrash, Vladimir Petskus.
The ensemble's repertoire includes works of various styles, genres and trends from classical to popular music. The quartet's triumphant debut took place in the Russian capital cities of Moscow, St Petersburg and Irkutsk.
Nikita Zimin

In 2018, Nikita Mikhailovich was awarded a commendation from the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin for his fruitful work in the field of culture in Moscow.
The saxophonist is a guest artist of the MusicAeterna Orchestra (conducted by Theodor Kurtenzis), the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Valery Gergiev), the Moscow Soloists Chamber Ensemble (conducted by Yuri Bashmet) and others.
