The Moscow Saxophone Quartet was founded in 2023. The quartet consists of world-class classical saxophone musicians. Nikita Zimin, Taras Gusarov, Anastasia Konyaeva, Dmitry Pinchuk.
The ensemble's repertoire includes works of various styles, genres and trends from classical to popular music. The quartet's triumphant debut took place in the Russian capital cities of Moscow, St Petersburg and Irkutsk.
Nikita Zimin

Leader of the Russian academic saxophone school.
Grand Prix winner of the most prestigious international competitions, such as the IV International Aeolus Competition (2009, Düsseldorf, Germany) and the VI International Adolf Sachs Competition (2014, Dinan, Belgium). Adolf Sachs International Competition (2014, Dinan, Belgium).

In 2018, Nikita Mikhailovich was awarded a commendation from the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin for his fruitful work in the field of culture in Moscow.
The saxophonist is a guest artist of the MusicAeterna Orchestra (conducted by Theodor Kurtenzis), the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Valery Gergiev), the Moscow Soloists Chamber Ensemble (conducted by Yuri Bashmet) and others.

Winner of two Gold medals at one of the most prestigious competitions among musicians in Russia and the CIS - Delphic Games (2017, Yekaterinburg, Russia).
Semi-finalist in the international competition Andorra SaxFest (2021, Andorra la Vella).
1st degree laureate of the international competition "Breath" (2019, Kushva, Russia).
She is active in competition, concert and pedagogical activities.
